The Transmission on my truck down shifted and made it so I lost all power while driving. If I would have been on the freeway it probably would have killed me or caused a serious accident. It is at a shop waiting to be inspected but they said it was the valve body in the transmission. No warning lights came on at all, and the shop had to plug a computer into my transmission to get the codes. GM needs to make this right because it is going to kill someone or cause harm if a bad accident happens due to failure at freeway speeds.Owner report · Power Train · Mar 2026
Electric-Release Tailgate opens unexpectedly on its own, when vehicle is put in park. This had happen when a trailer was hitched and now has caused a dent in the tailgate. I was in an accident where a drunk driver pulled out in front of me. I waw traveling at 55 and he drive in front of me without stopping from a side road. I swerved to miss him while applying the brakes. We collided I hit him with the driver front fender, where it crushes the fender and started peeling the driver door back. After the impact I continued through a ditch up onto a hill and struck a tree around 6" in diameter. I believe I was doing 40-50 when I struck the other vehicle and 25 when I struck the tree. The air bags did not deploy.Owner report · Air Bags · Jan 2026
