“The car is suffering random shutdown and intermittent times. The battery is no longer holding a charge and when it shuts down this places me at extreme risk. Ford is unable to fix it so this is no longer happening without replacing the High Voltage battery - battery from ford alone is 11k. I cannot be the only one who is dealing with this car doing this.”Owner report · Engine · Jul 2026

“Airbag light has been constantly illuminated since one week ago sunday. There seems to be an electrical problem with the car. In the past year, the 12 volt battery has died twice requiring replacement. The first time it happened all the lights went on the dash and it did not have as much power. (car still started) power steering seemed inhibited. The 2nd time it wouldn't start at all. The airbag light is on and it seems that there is something wrong with the sync system. I don't know if the car has a short or what. Ford dealers are inundated with work and don't have time to look at the car.”Owner report · Air Bags · Sep 2018

“Safely stop now displayed on the message center left screen with no prior warning. The car immediately started to loose acceleration speed on jefferson avenue and I was able to pull off the road after exiting the interstate I 64 onto the main road of 45 mph speed limit. The car automatically reduced speed to 25 mph to 2 mph. I parked the car in a nearby car dealership parking lot and had to have the car towed to the dealership as of july 27th and have not received a return call to find out what is causing this dangerous situation that could have caused a major accident if I was on the interstate and could not pull over safely.”Owner report · Power Train · Jul 2018
