“My vehicle lost power. A wrench icon appeared on the dash. I was entering a gas station so the car was in motion and I was able to park. I looked it up and found out it was a throttle body failure.. I had it towed to a ford dealer. I didnt trust to drive it. Ford could not duplicate the issue but the code was retained.p2111. The issue was not covered under the recall which was disappointing. “Our ford edge will intermittently loose power and drops to a rough idle, engine light comes on. This can happen at hwy speeds or accelerating from a stop. The error code given is p2111 tac system-actuator stuck open. I can turn the switch off then restart it and it might run okay for awhile or not.
