Issue I'm having with my 2015 Ford expedition Limited, is on multiple occasions when I'm at highway speeds my vehicle downshifts and decelerates. While im driving through the city streets, my vehicle downshifts randomly and does not upshift. On these occasions I've had to safely pull over and turn my vehicle off and on. Doing so resolves the problem for about 10 miles, and then back to the same issue.Owner report · Power Train · Feb 2026
There is a loud sound coming from behind the glove box when the heater is going. This issue was recalled in 2023 but it has returned.Owner report · Electrical System · Jan 2026
When accelerating from a complete stop making a left turn vehicle starting shaking and I could not accelerate. I was not on a safe road to pull out of the roadway. I had to turn the car off and back on again thankfully I was able to safely get the car home but this happened with no warning at all. This could have easily ended in an accident.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Nov 2025

Driving at 58 mph with cruise on, using the cruise - button to reduce speed to 50 the vehicle drastically downshifted causing the engine to over-rev and ultimately caused catastrophic engine failure, a blown engine.Owner report · Engine · Nov 2025
Rear back window blew out spontaneously. If my kids had been in the car it could have injured them with flying glass. No warnings prior. It had not been inspected prior because there had not been an issue before this. This is the second time it has happened in the same vehicle. First time was June 2023 and happened again 10/20/2025.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Oct 2025

My 2015 Ford Expedition needs to added to the recall 22S56. I just paid $1,200 to have that part fixed cause it burnt up. Replaced the front blower motor assembly. My husband burnt his hand on the wire exposed under the dash then the mechanic said the blower motor has burnt up the components around it. The fan, motor, control, and wire assembly all was burnt up. Ford needs to be made to include my vehicle in their recall as that vehicle year, model, plant made in and date made all match.Owner report · Electrical System · Sep 2025

Current recall reference# 22S56 front blower motor on some 2015-2017 Expedition SUVs and have issued a recall for affected vehicles. The front blower motor in certain vehicles may experience overheating and risk of interior fire. So my vehicle has gone thru 2 fixes for recall. But the issue caused by the blower motor was the actual risk of fire were the Wiring Harness. Which were burnt and original from the first repair that were already defaulted. So brand new motor and modular install but no new wiring harness that are already burnt. They just went ahead and plugged them back in with notice or even a heads up that you are still in danger of potential fireOwner report · Electrical System · Aug 2025
