What is going on and how it gets diagnosed
P0369 is the intermittent version of the bank 1 cam sensor B complaint: the signal drops out and returns. Intermittent electrical faults follow temperature and vibration, which is why this code's classic story is an engine that stumbles in traffic on a hot day and behaves perfectly at the shop the next morning.
Heat-sensitive sensors are a real phenomenon - the sensor's electronics fail marginally and quit above a threshold - and so are harnesses hardened by years of engine heat that crack and touch intermittently. If the code recurs, a technician watching the cam signal live while wiggling the harness settles sensor-versus-wiring quickly. Since the failure mode is a stall, the margin-of-safety advice is unglamorous but real: until fixed, avoid situations where a sudden stall is dangerous - fast roads, long left turns across traffic, narrow bridges.

Check engine light flashed. Started to deaccelerate. Moved vehicle over to shoulder. Fault codes: P0340, P0344, P0365, P0369. This truck has a 2.7L EcoBoost engine. Mileage is about 130,000. “Sitting stopped at a red light. These messages with the check engine light start scrolling on the dashboard: TSA, Emissions system problem, stability control, EPS, etc. it kept changing. When trying to go in drive to he engine had reduced power and I had to get out of the intersection quickly. The code to show up when scanned was P0369 camshaft sensor. “When I come to a stop, either at a red light or stop sign, and I have my foot on the brake, and come to a complete stop. The engine would idle rough and then would either die on me, or if I have time, I would put the driver selector switch into neutral and give it some gas before the engine quits.
