2024 Toyota Sienna: problems, recalls and reliability

“While applying the brake at the stop light. (25 to30 mile speed limit zone) The Toyota hybrid sienna start to accelerate for split 5 or more seconds. I have to apply the brake harder even though I was already applying the brake to slow down because the light was red and the are several cars in front of me. For the first time I was scared thinking about rear ending some one in front of me or the Toyota Lexus incident where it accelerated and everyone died flashing through my mind. “The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that while approaching a stop light and pressing the brake pedal the vehicle crashed into the rear of a second vehicle. During the crash the collision avoidance system did not activate and no air bags had deployed. No injuries were reported. A police report was taken at the scene.. “The driver's side mirror vibrates when the vehicle is at speed. I've been to two dealers who say that it's normal, and everything is intact and installed correctly. “My 2024 toyota sienna suddenly stopped for 2-3 seconds while driving in the city roads. I was caught off-guard with that behavior. “When a lever is pulled, the second row seat can move freely back and forth on a track until the back of the seat is returned to the upright position. I was driving at highway speeds and had to brake suddenly. The seat was at the back of the track with the lever pulled, and it slammed into the back of the driver seat, hurting my back.
