“Passenger seat lumbar air bag randomly over inflates and doesn't deflate to the point where the seat in not usable. This caused pieces in the rear of the passenger seat to bow out and push the plastic cover off, touching rear seat which holds a car seat for a 2 year old. This puts the passenger and rear seat passenger at risk along with possibly all passengers. This has been brought to a Jeep dealership and they left it inflated for now. They gave an invoice for 2 parts, the module and back cover. I was told it shouldn't inflate more and when I asked, was told it probably won't explode but I may want to move the car seat over.”Owner report · Seats · Aug 2026
“The dealership performed the backup camera safety recall (Jeep Recall 66B / NHTSA Campaign 24V436000), but the safety defect returned. The dealership is now refusing to re-repair the vehicle, falsely claiming the recall warranty has expired. The backup camera screen is blue and says camera is not available.”Owner report · Back Over Prevention · Jul 2026
“There was a previous recall for camera system that was fixed using a OTA over the air update per JEEP. This update introduced new problems It disabled the forward collision detection and disabled paddle shifting and other safety features which should also be issued as a RECALL because the dealer is not reputable to this on their own. The fix that they did requires customer to come in and have more work done at their expense and they pretend they didn't cause it but clearly this is a major problem across their whole line of Cars.”Owner report · Engine · May 2026

“There is an "thumping" noise in my dash of my vehicle, as well as a rocking sensation after coming to a stop. I took it to the dealership where they replicated it and determined it to be motor mounts that had failed. It is available if it needs to be inspected by a jeep field inspector. As those motor mounts get worse it could cause major safety issues for motorists I am around at the time of failure and myself alike.
