Recall claim was submitted for recall #44C and while dealer submitted claim the issue was never fixed. Car is still completely silent driving <18mph through neighborhoods. EV Took car to another dealer and they will not fix because a claim was already filed even though issue was never fixed.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jun 2026
While driving today I came to a stop sign, stopped. Proceeded to go and the Forward collision camera and surround camera kicked on and played a tone with nothing in front of me. Then as I proceeded to get up to speed the cameras and surround would not shut off. Or allow me to exit the screen. The camera finally shut off after about 10-15 minutes of driving at highway speeds. This is not the first time this vehicle has done this.Owner report · Unknown Or Other,Forward Collision Avoidance · Jun 2026

After having been in the possession of my car for 2 weeks, it went into a "bricked" mode where it could not be started. The only fix was for it to be towed to a dealer who was able to disconnect the 12V battery and reconnect it. This allowed it to run but in a reduced capacity. One week later, it was bricked again. I had it towed to another dealership who replaced that battery. The battery was faulty and was causing the car to not get receive updates. Since then, this issue has happened one more time and I was able to "reset" the car by walking away for 15 minutes, allowing the computer to turn off then try again.Owner report · Electrical System · Mar 2026
Car was 1.5 weeks old, purchased brand new. Had several electrical glitches in the days prior, which went away. Pulled into my son's Little League game, and the car just started flashing all lights on the dash, then said 'Service Transmission'. Gear shifter flashing, could not put the vehicle into park or any gear, it was like tit was stuck between park and drive. Anyhow, here it is, in the shop already after 800 miles of ownership. Quite disappointed. Apparently this has been happening a LOT to new Dodge Charger Daytona EV owners. Extremely common.Owner report · Power Train,Electrical System,Engine · Aug 2025
