Had the heater defroster on to clean snow off the car, came out later to go to work and noticed a crack along the bottom of the windshield. No safety issues yet, that I am aware of. Don't know if the problem has been reproduced or confirmed. Vehicle has not been inspected yet.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2026
While driving, all of a sudden the ABS light, power steering light, electrical control message came up, traction control light all came on. For about 15/20 seconds, I had no power steering, and could not brake. Very scary. This happened 3 different times. During one of these times, everything on my dash went black. Then the heat turned on and we couldn’t roll down the windows. Very scary and dangerous. Especially the not being able to brake for any amount of seconds.Owner report · Steering,Electrical System,Service Brakes · Feb 2026

Theres a problem with the lifters. They are of the "MDS" type.If exposed to too much pressure while cold they appear to have a issue with the needle bearings failing. This problem was corrected on two other occasions and repaired. Its making the same noise again.Prior to this i had contacted the California Dispute Settlement Program as this purchase was from that state and had suggested they replace the cam and lifter setup to one of a non-MDS type and a high volume oil pump and Dodge denied my request. While the vehicle was repaired, they didnt provide documentation as to what was done although i was told the first time it was repaired they had indeed replaced lifters.Owner report · Engine · Jan 2026

Transmission slippage when shifting from reverse to drive that causes a 2-3 second delay before transmission engages. Service manager at Cannons (CDJR) in Greenwood, MS advised that the cause of the slippage was due to fluid friction and that Dodge was aware of the issue, but hadn't issued a recall notice because they (Dodge) didn't know what was causing the problem with the transmission. The service manager advised me to just continue driving the car until further notice.Owner report · Power Train · Aug 2024
Forward collision warning: activates randomly. I had to decrease the warning sensitivity to near to reduce the rate at which I was receiving false alarms. Powertrain: noticeable delay after shifting down when using paddle shifters in manual mode. Electrical: The in dash audio radio station seeks down without user input.Owner report · Power Train,Electrical System,Forward Collision Avoidance · Apr 2024
Accelerator pedal was delayed coming back up when pressed. It is available for inspection. Because of this happening while I was parking the car, it collided with a tree about 20 feet in front of it. I’ve also noticed the car will sometimes accelerate on its own at speeds below 20 mph. I am taking the vehicle to a body shop on Monday to get fixed and be inspected.Owner report · Vehicle Speed Control · Mar 2024
