I read on the internet under 2000 chrysler concorde that there is a master brake issue if you don't have ABS brakes. It affects the stopping and the brakes constantly rub. That is the main concern I have with my car.Owner report · Exterior Lighting · Aug 2015
As I was driving my air ag was released. In doing so my arm was hurt due to the air being developed. Prior to that happening anytime I would park my car and set the alarm it wouldn't lock or unlock then it would reset my radio and light would start to flicker. *trOwner report · Electrical System · Oct 2014

There was no accident involved. All of a sudden the air bag light went on and it started to ding on and off. Took to mechanic who took to chrysler dealer who said there was a recall back in 2000 regarding the fact that there was a recall concerning the seat belts affecting the air bag light. No one could find anything wrong with the car except the air bag light continues to go on even when the seat belts are not connected. It is really bothering me as I drive and this noise keeps binging and the light stays on. What is the solution??? *trOwner report · Air Bags · Mar 2014
The lifts on the hood and trunk have both been replaced because of falling. The door and headlight trim is going to have to be replaced because it has pulled completely off the doors and headlights because of shrinkage, then while driving down the interstate at 65 miles an hour the hood molding came flying off and went over the top of the car and landed in the ditch. These are defects which I feel chrysler should replace. *trOwner report · Structure · Apr 2013
The motor on a my 2.7l 2000 chrysler contour rod bearings went out ruining the motor. The repair would be 3,000. I did not know it was a known incident with these motors that chrysler uses in this model. The motor went out on a camping trip 180 miles away from home. I left the car at a shop and am currently donating it to charity. *trOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Jul 2010

Tl* the contact owns a 2000 chrysler concorde. While turning into a parking lot there was a loud noise, and then the steering wheel locked. She then tried to pull to the side of the road, but the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to a local repair facility, and the mechanic concluded that the failure was caused by engine sludge. No repairs were made. She filed a report with the dealer, but no assistance was provided. The failure and current mileages were unknown.Owner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Dec 2009
Hi my 200 chrysler concord , stalled in the middle of highway , mechanic said overheating /sludge in engine caused it to fail , almost got hit on us route !&9 .almost cost me my life in rush hour traffic in the middle lane . My mechanic said this car is the worst engine he,s seen in his 25 years of working on cars . I today contacted chrysler they wont do nothing for my car said out of warranty . I've done some research on net and found class action suits being filed all over against chrysler for this 2.7 engine failure . *trOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Mar 2009
