“My 2022 Chevrolet Blazer abruptly Shut down all power for about five seconds while I was stopped at a red light. The vehicle restarted after I pressed the push-button ignition, but the dashboard displayed a brake system error warning with no explanation of the cause or instructions for next steps. No other warning lights preceded the shutdown. The vehicle appeared to resume normal operation after restart, but the brake system warning remained. This appears consistent with complaints filed by other 2022 Blazer owners describing simultaneous electrical and brake system failures.”Owner report · Electrical System · Aug 2026
“My infotainment system has completely blacked out. I have no navigation, no rear view camera or warning signals. I have no phone and no SOS ð emergency calls. I have no music no lane merging alerts. My charging station does not work in the front of the vehicle.”Owner report · Back Over Prevention · Jul 2026
“The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that the coolant was leaking from the radiator. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the radiator needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the dealer was replacing a lot of radiators for similar failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 49,500.”Owner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Jun 2026

“Intermittent electrical defects are beginning to occur that impact the power steering or power brakes. After starting the vehicle, there are times either the power steering or the power brakes do not function. When the braking defect occurs, the engine warning lamp is displayed and indicates brake system control module. Sudden switch to manual steering or manual braking are a safety hazard. A couple ignition recycles eventually corrects the electrical defect and restores the vehicle to normal operations. Vehicle has been dropped off at dealership for warranty repair.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jun 2026
“Car stalled and told me to put in neutral. Could smell gas. Car wouldn't come back on. Code u18a2 (lost communication with fuel pump communication module), part is available for inspection, we were all at risk due to the car stalling on the highway with no prior warnings, check engine light came on after car stalled, ordered new part from GMC, fix the issue right away. This part has been recalled on other models just not on 2022.”Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jun 2026
“Thermostat fails resulting in steering power reduced, temperature goes to C and fan runs overtime. This thermostat or temp sensor fails intermittently and fixes itself. Car could be overheating and you wouldn't know. This part is recalled on 2021 Blazers already.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · May 2026
“I have a 2022 Blazer with a 3.6 engine. The thermostat has failed and dealer says only certain blazer vehicles are covered under aspecial warrnty exstesion. I know several people having the same problem.I have a check engine light, with a scan shows code P0128(thermostat0. I also have a display of power steering assist reduced and tempature gauge stays much lower than normal.. When you turn vehicle off the high speed cooling fans remain running ub=ntil battery is dead.”Owner report · Engine · Apr 2026
“My engine coolant temperature sensor failed. Replaced it and still not fixing the issue. This takes my steering assist away as they are all interlinked? I have seen on forms this is a common issue. This has the potential to blow up my engine, I'm not sure how this is not a recall with so many 2020-2026 blazer owners having the same issue.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Apr 2026
“I have received this warning a few different times "Steering Assist is Reduced". Which causes my vehicle to not blow cold air when AC is on. Fans are louder than normal. And when I turn off my vehicle fans continue to run for roughly around 8 minutes.”Owner report · Engine · Apr 2026
“My Drive Assist stopped working. Then my Air conditioning stopped blowing cold. Then the temperature gauge stopped working. Upon turning the car off the fan continued to run for several minutes. Took to repair shop where it required a new thermostat housing, coolant temp sensor and coolant flush. The total cost for repair was $1,131.52. The car has 37,000 miles on it. Barely out of warranty. This is a well-known issue among Chevy owners.”Owner report · Engine · Mar 2026
