The truck frame is so rusted and weak to hold the rear of truck. The back of truck is shaken and ready to break in half. *trOwner report · Structure · Dec 2014
1994 toyota truck, brought in for inspection and to fix blown head gasket. Truck is un-serviceable because of frame rot. It cannot pass inspection, or be registered. This is the same issue with the 1995 toyota trucks. Toyota should cover the 1994 for the same issue. The frames are the exact same. *trOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Oct 2013
1994 toyota pickup has holes in frame from rust. I just replaced the tires and found the frame rot and I am very unhappy with this situation. The recall only goes back to the 1995 models and this is obviously a factory defect. I feel that this needs to be fixed by toyota. *trOwner report · Structure · Nov 2010

I took my 1994 toyota pickup to a shop to have the clutch replaced. The shop called me and said they would not install the clutch because the frame was rusted through so bad around the rear suspension mounts that it was practically broken in half and was not safe to drive. *trOwner report · Structure · Oct 2010
1. Drove vehicle adhering to, actually exceeding, vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. 2. Upper left control arm is rusting through on the vertical planes. 3. Took vehicle to local dealer for inspection. They agreed the parts are rusting but it was okay to drive. Contacted the manufacturer and they support the dealer. My vehicle is a 1994 toyota pickup truck with 225,000 miles. The power train and body are in above average condition. *trOwner report · Suspension · Apr 2009
I have a 1994 toyota truck,4x4,4cyl,5spd. . The frame is totally rusted from behind the gas tank(which is unnoticable unless gas tank is removed)to the rear bumper. The exhaust and drivers rear side of the frame has rusted as well. Im each year replacing the exhaust due to rust. The frame has had a patch welded to it that I was unaware of until I had a mechanic do repairs to it. Each mechanic I have taken it too, says the recall for the toyota frame rust should have gone back to 1994,as this is a common problem he has seen with this year as well. They all stated it was a problem when manufactured. *trOwner report · Structure · Oct 2008
