“After only 34,306 miles, the front lower forward suspension control arms (left and right) and front lower rearward csuspension control arms and ball joints need to be replaced. I discovered this when having the tires replaced. This seems to be a common issue with this model, but failure of these parts is very premature. “When engaging fsd, you can't see the safety distance between you and the car in front of you for defensive driving. Even if you are supervising fsd at high speed on the freeway, the high speed and sudden possibility of fsd disengaging is dangerous. The fsd mode should allow for safe distance between you and vehicle in front to be set manually and if it can't be set manually, it shouldn't be allowed to following too closely to the front vehicle. It's unfair and absolutely dangerous to all should the fsd disengage and the driver doesn't have time to react even though we are responsibly supervising. “Kept getting warnings "Steering assist reduced" and "steering may require increased effort" that would come and go even after resetting vehicle. This resulted in unpredictable steering and unsafe driving conditions and matches ongoing NHTSA investigation EA24001. This required replacement of the entire steering rack. “The contact owns a 2022 Tesla Model Y. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel started sticking, and the contact discovered that the center of the steering wheel was cracked and peeling. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. “2022 Tesla Model Y - Premature inner rear tire wear due to excessive negative camber from factory. Both rear tires worn to cords on inside edge at 17k miles, outside tread 6/32 still. Alignment specs show rear camber out of spec caused by short factory rear camber arms. This is a known defect, creates blowout risk at highway speed. Vehicle never modified, never in accident. “FSD failed when on FSD to go to local Walmart, in Walmart parking lot while on FSD, vehicle was parking it self by backing up and it hit shopping cart rack. It failed to see physical shopping cart rack and stop and park. “While operating my 2022 tesla model y, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic hardware failure of the onboard vehicle control computer. This total computer failure resulted in an immediate, sudden loss of electronic power steering assist while the vehicle was in motion. The steering wheel became incredibly stiff and heavy, creating a severe and hazarders driving situation. the vehicle was towed to a tesla service center, where technicians confirmed the onboard computer hardware requires a complete replacement. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2016-2023 Model S, Model X, 2017-2023 Model 3, and 2020-2023 Model Y vehicles equipped with Full Self-Driving Beta (FSD Beta) software or pending installation. The FSD Beta system may allow the vehicle to act unsafe around intersections, such as traveling straight through an intersection while in a turn-only lane, entering a stop sign-controlled intersection without coming to a complete stop, or proceeding into an intersection during a steady yellow traffic signal without due caution. In addition, the system may respond insufficiently to changes in posted speed limits or not adequately account for the driver's adjustment of the vehicle's speed to exceed posted speed limits.
