“Engine dies without warning while in motion. Today, it quit in heavy traffic nearly resulting in an accident. Vehicle has 150k miles. *ak the stalls usually occur upon letting up on the accelerator pedal. It will normally restart immediately, but to continue running the accelerator needs held down to hold the engine a little above idle speed - you have to drive with two feet. No error codes are recorded, so assumed mechanical failure was occuring. There was no sputtering, like a fuel pump failing would cause. Replaced fuel filter and pressure regulator, but did not resolve the problem. Repair shops can only guess at the cause.”Owner report · Electrical System · Dec 2003
