ABS hydraulic accuator pump failed again. Was repaired for free in 1999. I paid for the accumalotor, which fails due to the leaky brake pump. Chrysler is delaying or denying repair on lifetime warranty due to recall.Owner report · Service Brakes · May 2015
Brakes have no power assist due to ABS pump failure, as diagnosed by putnam chrysler on 3/29/13. Dealer contacted chrysler regarding recall 685. Part was said to be on back order. Owner has contacted chrysler and dealer numerous times to no avail. Latest report (11/7/13) from chrysler is that the part was sent to dealer and message left for owner at some unrecognized phone number. Latest report from dealer, also 11/7/13, is that repair has already been done, which is not correct. Dealer rep was to research and call owner back. No call back. *trOwner report · Service Brakes · Mar 2013

Dt*: the contact stated while depressing the brake pedal at various speeds, there was an increased stopping distance. The vehicle was driven to the dealer who determined the dual function pressure switch needed to be replaced. The consumer was told the dual pressure switch was apart of the ABS and was not covered under any recall. The consumer was told that the pressure switch failed because the ABS/pump motor had failed so many times. I have a 1993 plymouth grand voyager. The ABS pump and motor were replaced (under warranty) with a re-manufactured unit on 11/05/01 when the vehicle mileage was 104,691. The pump just failed again, and was replaced with another re-manufactured unit. The vehicle mileage is now 115,381.
