I was on Interstate traveling 65 MPH. sounded like gunshot or explosion. I pulled over as soon as I could. Walked around vehicle saw nothing, I stepped on side of car to look at roof. The sunroof was shattered. I drove back home and noticed very fine glass falling into the car while I was drivingOwner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2025

Regarding other, there is apparently an issue regarding the sunroofs in Nissan vehicles and severe leaking inside the car that causes issues regarding the flooring and possible electrical components. The second issue regarding the wheels is Nissan uses a term called "swollen lug nuts". They wanted to charge almost 1k to change the lugs and finally rotate my tires.Owner report · Wheels · Jun 2024
I lost brake pressure at a red light today. I ended up pressing the brake all the way to the floor and kept rolling. The light turned green and I pressed the gas and the brake started working after that and has worked since. I started googling and I saw this was an issue in older Muranos as well. I do not want to take it in and spend a bunch of money on master cylinders, etc when it may not be the issue. Please investigate.Owner report · Service Brakes · Mar 2024
While traveling experiences slight vibration in which passenger side tire PULLED oncming lane, nonemergency brakes were applied not notification of crossing outside of lane, passenger side tire blew out, causing to hit a Culvert and all airbags deployed with passenger air bag off. Im seeing water in my left head lamp . And im finding out that a lot off people are having this same problem .. Nissan is aware of this issuse and not doing anything about there issue . Because of the water issuemy bulbs continue to burn outOwner report · Lane Departure · Feb 2023
Moon roof exploded showing glass down into the head liner. had the roof panel been open it would have showered down into the cabin potentially causing injury or distracting me and causing a potential accident. the moon roof was closed at the time of occurrence and there were no large vehicles in front of me at the time that could have sent a road hazard toward my car, the shattering of the glass was load enough that for a moment i thought a tire had blown before realizing it was the roof.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jan 2023
On 05/17/2022 I was on my way to work driving about 68-70mph on the interstate, WA HWY 520. At around 0625 am I suddenly heard a loud boom-explosion, and then glass everywhere-the sunroof spontaneously exploded and I looked up and there was a bug hole in it. I swerved a bit and then pulled over on the left, but due to very little shoulder in the road I got back on the highway. I am a physician and really needed to get to work on time so I took the photo after I got there about 8 more miles.Owner report · Structure · Jun 2022
We were driving down the freeway and heard a very loud bang, it sounded like a massive balloon popping. Upon further review we noticed the panoramic sun roof had shattered. There was no sign of any objects hitting the sunroof. Upon further review we have found multiple other complaints online of others with this same problem. There were no warming signs prior to the loud popping. We have not reported it to Nissan or our insurance due to the late hour.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2022
