When I first got my Mazda CX30 2024 New lease ,my Breaks were very weak & didn't perform as new. Only 2 years later w 9K miles on it, Mazda states my breaks need to be replaced. My rotors need to be shave. A whole list of services on a car thats 2 years old. My concern is, break service at 9K confirm my car wasn't new and that Mazda put my Safety at risk w Old Breaks... Mazda is hiding somerhing about my breaks playing games...in the mean time I feel my safety is in jeopardy with defective breaks that maza should fully cover under warranty. Which they won't honor. I was driving down the Highway and the sun roof just exploded send shards of glass everywhere and nothing had hit it or anything. It just exploded. When I got to the dealer the person ahead of me had the exact same thing and we compared pictures. It was scary, dangerous and really loud when it happened.Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Apr 2026
I had both the left front and right front CV axles fail. My car only has 11.5k miles on. I first heard the clunking noise at 11k miles, went right to the dealer and had them watch me recreate the noise and they determined the axles needed to be replaced. This is incredible dangerous as the CV axle could have been completely disconnected from the wheel assembly leaving my car useless and uncontrollable.Owner report · Power Train · Jan 2026

Cruise control and lane keeping system engaged. Vehicle will occasionally aggressively apply brakes, when nothing visible is in front of the vehicle. This has nearly cause our car to be rear ended on a number of occasions. I suspect the system mistakenly interprets a building or vehicle shadow as a physical object. This response has also occurred when vehicle in front (cruise control distance at slower speed) turns right. Again, nearly causing vehicle behind to be rear ended.Owner report · Lane Departure,Forward Collision Avoidance · Nov 2025
[XXX] fuel door assembly has come loose from body. It looks like the clips that hold it in place have become worn or loose by the weight of the gas nozzle or by the fact that the gas door will not close correctly and car wash machine has made it looser and it appears to not shut all the way, and the body colored panel has fallen off as a result and when you pump gas, the assembly moves may be possibly causing it to leak gasoline if the seal or gasket becomes dislodged because of the loose clips that hold assembly to the body panel. On [XXX] autoNation Mazda Arapahoe in Colorado sold me a car for my sign at 2024 CX 30 premium. They said there was an open recall that they needed to fix and we’re keeping the car overnight on June 6, 2025. They deliver the vehicle to my son around noon and around 6 PM on June 6. They contacted my son and said they shouldn’t have sold the vehicle to him and needed the vehicle back. This is my son‘s first vehicle and it’s not a good experience and the dealership should never have sold that car to us knowing that there was not a fix. They were well aware of this on May 29. I have received a recall notice back in June 5th. I tried to reach my dealer (Douglas Mazda) couple of times but they are not fixing it. As it has been announced that, it is not available. The vehicle is under warranty. PLease suggest me what steps I should take? As it is not not safe drive in any highway.Owner report · Air Bags · Jun 2025
The sunroof exploded. Was no external debris or damage. Glass pushed outwards. 47 degrees outside. Very sudden and scary.Owner report · Structure · Apr 2025
The air bag warning system shows "passenger air-bags not engaged" If involved in any accident that requires passenger air-bags to inflate, they will not. Causing serious to deadly consequences. January 28 2025 the Mazda service department had our vehicle to recalibrating the system. Checking the problem after the service still show the same problem. Another Mazda CX-30 was brought over, and the same problem existed. Also a Mazda CX-5 was tested and no problem was found. This was the second time this problem has been returned to the Mazda Dealership. This problem has existed since purchasing this vehicle.Owner report · Air Bags,Seats · Dec 2024
