“The seal material between the fuel filler pipe and the fuel tank is defective and does not prevent fuel leakage. This fuel leakage could result in a vehicle fire if an ignition source were present. A recall (recall 95v06300) to replace the defective seal was issued. Because of a time lapse, the manufacturer has refused to honor the recall on this vehicle and the hazard still exists. Any attempt to fill the fuel tank to full will cause immediate and heavy fuel spillage. A time period does not eliminate a defect nor a potential vehicle fire hazard. *tr”Owner report · Fuel System, Gasoline · Dec 2011
