“Our 19-month old Lexus NX450h with under 7,000 miles on it was not driven for a week. When we went to start the vehicle this morning, the car would not unlock via the keyfob, credit card key or app. The car required AAA to open the doors and jump start it. This is a very common failure with the 12-volt battery in the Lexus NX hybrids. This could result in a motorist being left stranded somewhere.”Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Aug 2026
“The interior door latch is electronic with a manual lever in case it loses power. The problem is the electronic latch will occasionally malfunctions, and the door is partially open. When this happens, you cannot get the door to open all the way with the electric door latch or the manual door latch. The only way to get it open is to pull very hard on the door to close it again or get someone to push on the outside of the door. I alerted the dealer about this, and they said I have to push harder when I open the door. This has happened to me many times. The safety issue here is plain. If a person is not strong enough to pull the door closed it will not open.”Owner report · Latches/Locks/Linkages · Jul 2026
“Battery was DEAD after being parked for one week. Car was in residential garage (outdoor temp about 10 degrees. garage temp measured 46 degrees. Please Note: The SAME problem happened to my 2025 plug in RX and 2025 plug in NX. I doubt this is a coincidence and there are plenty of websites that indicate a significant problem.”Owner report · Electrical System · Feb 2026

“With this 2025 Lexus NX350 Premium AWD, the front windshield glass is BADLY distorted. Looking at the road ahead while seated behind the steering wheel, objects aren't clear, they tend to be wobbly as there is a MAJOR safety issue here with the glass itself. My dealer told me that the other 2025 Lexus NX models they checked all have the same distorted windshield problem as mine does. Its so bad, I frankly can't drive the vehicle as much as I want because I get car sick, dizzy, and at times nauseated while traveling down the road. Perhaps it's a Toyota vender problem or simply a screw up with the development engineers that didn't catch the problem during the vehicles testing?”Owner report · Structure · Nov 2025
“The car 2025 Lexus NX350) hydroplanes on wet roads at normal highway speeds. Last week, my wife hydroplaned into an adjacent lane on I40 in Nashville and could have been injured or worse. The tires that were delivered on the car (Bridgestone Alenza) make it unsafe to drive in wet weather. The issue was reported to the local Lexus dealership and then elevated to Lexus corporate (case 250910001090) but was not satisfactorily resolved.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Sep 2025
“My wife was backing out of a parking space and her car did not give a warning nor did it stop as she hit another parked car. Damage to both cars was substantial and if the car was operating properly she should NOT have been able to hit another car in the manner she did. The car has been recalled for similar problems. I filed a complaint with Lexus who did an investigation and indicate there was no problem with the system. I can only say that if a person was behind the car she would have most likely run them down. The car DID NOT STOP as it was supposed to.”Owner report · Forward Collision Avoidance · Aug 2025
“My vehicle has 11,407 miles on it and all 20 of my lug bolts are rusted. It has been brought to the attention of the dealership and Lexus and their only answer is that Lexus is working on a solution. I can see the outside of the bolt but can not see the bolt that bolt that is attached to the wheel and I'm unsure if that part is rusted and I'm afraid that if it is it could make it difficult to remove the bolts. I was told that they are rusted because the bolts were removed and put back on”Owner report · Wheels · Apr 2025
“The contact owns a 2025 Lexus NX 350h. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed through snow, there was snow entering the vehicle through the door jambs. The contact stated that after the snow melted, the water would accumulate inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the door seals were operating as intended. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 3,000.”Owner report · Structure · Feb 2025
“While I was driving my new 2025 Lexus NX 350H on the freeway, the driver side rear tire disintegrated and I had to make an emergency evasive maneuver to the shoulder of the freeway!”Owner report · Tires · Oct 2024
“Windshield wipers leave approx. 3 inches on drivers side and large area on passenger's side not reached. In cold this could cause visibility problem due to ice or snow. In warm rainy weather it depends on how hard it's raining but this seems to be a safety concern. This has been a complaint by others but no recall to fix the problem.”Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Sep 2024
