My car has approximately 65000 miles on it. I purchased the car in December 2021 for about $120,000. The car has only been serviced by Land Rover. The car needs a new engine which is $46,000. I owe $12,700 on the car. The dealership told me an animal had chewed. They told me this for 2 weeks. Now they are saying there was no animal involved. The Geico inspector has not seen the car.Owner report · Engine · May 2026
On the previous day, The vehicle began with notifying me that the battery needed charging and recommended starting the vehicle to charge it. This was done and drove home from work. Next day same notification but when I started driving, the car started losing power, no acceleration at all. Drove for about 3 minutes without ability to accelerate, then suddenly there was no power, just rolling, in a busy street. Pulled over into a business premises and called tow. Dealer informed me the DC to DC converter was bad and needed replacement at 2k, this part was also in back order so no timeline on completion.Owner report · Electrical System · Feb 2026
Stopped at red light -- while waiting there came a very loud bang in back. I got out to inspect the rear and found the back window was fully crazed with two sizeable holes. I could find nothing that might explain the damage -- no projectiles in our outside the car -- no damage to the car other than a decimated rear window. By the time i got home the window was 80% broken in with the trunk area filled with shards. Another search (including with police) found nothing to explain the issue. Seems to be a manufacturing failure perhaps triggered by atmospheric events (temp or pressure changes)?Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Aug 2025
