Bought a SUV from a car lot was told the only problem it had was the o2 sensor needed to be changed test drive was good so had it a few days driving it got to be extremely bouncy ended up taking to my mechanic he said the struts are worn down nothing left on them the suspension was bad and the axles can snap anytime from how bad it bounces and said the airbag sensors are outOwner report · Suspension · Mar 2026
My wife came to a complete stop at a stop sign. When she tried to pull off, the vehicle refused to move. Two good samaritans pushed her into a parking lot. Had this happened on the interstate, it could have caused an accident. Inspection a few days later revealed rusted and stripped splines on the transmission output shaft and transfer case mating part. During my research, I found that this is a fairly common problem caused by electrolytic migration due to a lack of grease on the mating parts during assembly. Please note the absolutely clean areas of the transmission and transfer case apart from the rust dislodged during disassembly.Owner report · Power Train · Feb 2020

Front end differential locked up on the interstate without warning. Front tires will not turn and are completely locked up. This would have been a wreck if there were other drivers on the road at the same time. Had it towed to a service shop, and a mechanic said the front end differential is completely blown up and should be a factory recall.Owner report · Power Train · Apr 2018

Landrover is not notifying the owners of affected vehicles on the takata airbag recall. They say ' they are not having any problems' don't be concerned - they will notify owner when the have parts. This is taking way too long! *trOwner report · Air Bags · Aug 2016
Takata recall. This has been in effect since last summer. Range rover has not made any attempt to remedy problem and I am driving around everyday with an eminent danger to me and my family. I have made numerous calls to dealership as well as range rover headquarters in nj to no avail. I was treated rudely at the headquarters and told that there was nothing that could be done and no promise of remedy in the future. I think this is outrageous and should require your attention. I will take this to the media if I do not receive some kind of action.Owner report · Air Bags · Jul 2016
