“Fuel pump power and fuel level sensor electrical connector has undersized pins and sockets in the 4.4L and 4.2L engine equiped full sized range rovers from 06-09. The connector located on top of the fuel filter assembly on top of the fuel tank overheats and melts the plastic surrounding the copper feedthru pins connecting the fuel pump to the fuel pump relay. The pins passing thru the male portion of the connector on the fuel filter appears to be undersized. I've had three fuel pumps fail, at least one of which required the entire connector to be replaced on the vehicle (by me).”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2022

“This vehicle was taken back by the manufacturer for electrical issues it was then resold. I just purchased it and it has serious electrical issues. I have owned it a month and it had codes within 48 hours of purchase. System failure codes. The battery is good and is drained every night and every time I go to work. This vechicle is essentially usuless and I just purchased it. It flashes random tire pressure system failure codes when it wants. Just random. It is one thing after another. Luckily nothing super safety related yet. It was manufactured wrong and was never repaired and now I am stuck with a vehicle I can't use after I have made one payment on it.”Owner report · Electrical System · Oct 2017
