“We were driving and heard a loud bang and the sunroof exploded. No other cars were near. No item like a rock was found anywhere near by.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2026
“The Hatchback was suddenly in operable where none of the buttons or fobs would open or close the hatchback to the point I was not able to close the hatch manually and the hatch flung open while driving causing dangerous driving conditions. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the hatch but the buttons in the vehicle still didn't work and found it was the connector pins were not connecting. My concern is that I have family and children in my backseats and do not feel safe driving with passengers where the hatchback can open while driving on a new car 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee with only 14 miles when purchased less than a month ago for $40k+.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Dec 2025

“The backup camera screen shows a blue screen when the gear is placed in reverse. It is difficult to see pedestrians, or other objects not viewable on the rearview mirror. This has occurred on numerous occasions. I contacted the manufacturer and the manufacturer told me to contact the dealership. I contacted the dealership and took a day off work to bring the vehicle to the dealership, but I was told that they couldn't fix the issue because they did not have a loaner vehicle available. I believe this is a safety issue causing me to backup into someone without my knowledge.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Sep 2025
“Was driving in normal weather conditions, no rain, no hail, no snow, no inclement weather whatsoever. During daylight hours, plenty of visibility. Was driving with no other vehicles around and my windshield cracked. Nothing hit it, no spider webbing, no point of impact. It made a loud cracking sound. The crack is roughly 80% of the with of my windshield. From setting behind the driver's seat, the crack starts around the steering wheel, goes up about midway, goes over to the passenger side and then goes up towards the roof. The crack makes a large N shape. The main horizontal of the crack is about center of the windshield. Had the vehicle less than two months at the time of the cracking.”Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Jun 2025
