The vehicle was taken to jaguar greensboro (1205 bridford pkwy, greensboro, nc 27407), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. “I believe jaguar should recall the fuel rail because the aluminum fuel rails corrode from the inside out from using certain ethanol fuels with low water content, which cause a pinhole that sprayed raw gasoline onto a hot engine which cause a fire. Those aluminum fuel rails were need to be replaced with stainless steel rails. My car was almost caught on fire due to a pinhole fuel leak which developed. And this occurred while stationary and moving the smell was so strong I had to drive with the windows down. And to make matters worst the fuel rail is no longer available through jaguar the part is obsolete so how can we have are car repaired if jaguar doesn't even carry the part ???”Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jan 2019

“The leather dash has separated from the back causing ridges in the leather up to 3/4" high. In the event of a crash this will prevent proper deployment of the airbag. The leather needs to be firmly attached and stretched tight for the stitching to rip correctly. If the leather is loose and ridged, the stitching will only partially rip and may prevent full airbag deployment into the cabin.”Owner report · Air Bags · Dec 2017
“The dashboard of my car is starting to wave up and buckle when the sunlight hits the wavy area it reflect sun into my eyes almost causing me to crash”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jul 2017
“The electrical issue in this car is completely unbearable, it consistently drains the battery until it is dead and cannot take a jump start. I was told by a gentleman that there was a recall in regards to this matter. The fuel system is also a major complication. The fuel comes through the vents of the vehicle and it is so potent that I have gotten sick on a few occasions while operating the vehicle. The vehicle can be stationary and in motion while these mishaps are occurring. It is really sad and disappointing to sell cars this expensive and experience so many complications. My vehicle is in the repair shop at this very moment.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2017
“Inside car interior lights comes on and off while driving on it's own. Even at night while driving the interior light will come and off by themselves for apparent reason. I've google an seen a lot of complaints on jaguar website about the same issue been reported since 2011 with no recall to fix the issue an as of today I'm still experiencing this issue. Engine makes a ticking noise while idling and worse after acceleration. As if something is lose put in shop a few time they checked the timing chain, lifters, and used an stethoscope to find the problem still can't. Just told me to drive until the engine goes out.”Owner report · Engine · Jul 2017
