Cvt transmission failing, started @ 113000 miles, trying to work with Infiniti consumer affairs, they have required me to bring the car into their shop for diag. When i purchased the vehicle 2/26/2022, include with the car was an extended warranty for 6 years unlimited miles. They dated the contract back to the manufacturer date in 1/31/2019 and expired on 1/31/2025. I've opened a case with Infiniti USA case# 56866430. I feel they have never fixed their CVT transmission issue and it causing consumer undue cost and stress.Owner report · Power Train · Jul 2026
Differential failed and leaking fluid - premature failure. Yes, part will be available, and repair diagnosed by Kendall Inifiniti of Nampa dealership. In process of review by manufacturer district area manager. No warning, no messages, no smells, nada - took auto in for scheduled 60,000 mile service at dealer and provided $4,100 estimate for repair - see attached. Vehicle previously serviced in Feb 2025 at same dealership and drivetrain was reported good without any mention of leak or seal failure. Service rep believes this failed months ago.Owner report · Power Train · Oct 2025
My car started making a whining noise and leaking oil simultaneously. After taking it to be looked at, there is a broken seal due in improper assembly on the right side drive shaft. If it remains broken, not fixed, I risk a transmission failure. Multiple "Technical Serve Bulletins" have been released by Infiniti since 2017 (my car is a 2019 and was purchased certified pre-owned), but they will not issue a recall because this isn't considered a safety issue. Losing transmission function on the highway would create a huge safety concern.Owner report · Engine · Jul 2025

My engine has sludge all over it as well as engine bearing shavings despite only having 122k miles and regular oil changes and maintenance.Owner report · Engine · Jun 2025
The Rear right differential side seal failed under 40K miles and car was out of manufacturer warranty and I had to pay to get the seal and bearing replaced. I cannot believe a seal and bearing need to be rep[laced withing 40K miles. I had to replace a seal on the Transfer case last year when the car was still under manufacturer's warranty. My guess is that poor quality of the seals/bearings or improper installation procedures could have led to these early failures and surely warrants an investigation.Owner report · Power Train · May 2025
The contact owns a 2019 Infiniti QX60. The contact stated while driving approximately 20-25 MPH, the steering wheel locked on six occasions while driving straight or while turning. There was a green EPS warning light that turned on and off. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a claim. The manufacturer scheduled an appointment for an inspection of the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 38,400.Owner report · Steering · Sep 2024
Took the vehicle in to the dealership for an oil change and state inspection. They informed us of the front lower control arms bushings are cracked, torn and need to be replaced. The vehicle is 5 years old with 41,000 miles. I asked the dealership why they would be this way and the service writer stated that it is just the quality of the bushings. Why are the bushings that worn on a vehicle that drives 8,000 miles per year, garage kept and all highway miles?Owner report · Suspension · Jul 2024
Transfer Case leaking. Resealing of Transfer Case was performed under warranty. The vehicle was under warranty and had only 33,000 Miles. It was rather alarming that such transmission/power train issues showed up at such low mileage.Owner report · Power Train · Jul 2024
