Seat belts do not extend properly on my 2001 hyundai tiburon. I contacted hyundai and my local service center and they said my vehicle was not covered under the existing recall that was issued in 2001 despite this vehicle having the exact same problem as described in the recall # 01v345000. The seatbelts snag and will not extend out properly to be used. It catches in the guide ring and you have to get out to correct the problem. *trOwner report · Seat Belts · Oct 2009
The driver & passenger seatbelts jam in the belt d-ring all the time. Recall 01-01-006 does not cover my vehicle. My vehicle has this problem. *trOwner report · Seat Belts · Jan 2009
Car started making loud tapping noise, about 3 days later it started having problems accelerating. I had a friend that works on cars look at it and he said it was valve tapping coming from the engine. He used some oil to remedy the problem temporarily but said problem will continue until engine is most likely replaced?!?! I had to have the transmission replaced in 2003 after being told for several months that it was just my air conditioner! It is problem after problem with this car and to top it all off I have never received any recall information on this car with the exclusion of the seatbelt recall, what kind of company did I buy a car from? *trOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Apr 2007
