The front sunroof on our 2023 Hyundai Palisade shattered without any impact and caused a huge explosive sound. When we went outside the car to see if there was any rock or debris, there was no sign of any rocks or debris which caused the front sunroof of our car to shatter. The glass from the shattered sunroof could have possibly hurt us seated in the front seat or could have injured our one year old and six year old kids seated in the middle row.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jul 2026

The self leveling shocks have gone bad two times now in a matter of 4 months. The first time we had no major issues but the second time it caused the ABS system to kick in while making a left turn. The dealer said it was caused by the car not sensing the correct posture because of the shocks turning on the ABS system and causing us not to be able to brake for about 10-15 feet. If there was a person or vehicle in the way we would have crashed.Owner report · Suspension,Service Brakes · Jun 2026
The wipers stopped working midway and they wouldn’t come back on until 15 minutes afterwards. It was pouring down rain and the visibility was terrible and couldn’t see anything in front of me. Our safety was at risk because of the wipers and windshield. We just got our vehicle on 5/12 - and on 5/20 it first happened then took it in - got a loner car - picked up the vehicle 5/21 and on 5/23 the wipers stopped working again and our safety was at risk and visibility was awful. On our vehicle has been at the dealership since 5/25 and haven’t heard from them yet.Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · May 2026
The safety sensors mounted on the front of the car seem to disable frequetnly. I belive it is the bumper sensors. I read it is a known issue that they disable when it's snowing/raining/mud. I cleaned them off and took a 3 hour drive in clear weather, dry roads. they would disable and then come back on intermittently through the drive.. drive started in day time and ended in the evening. When they are disabled the cruise control will not work and then the car just starts to slowly slow down on the the highway. On the drive back, it was daytime, roads were clear, no inclement weather and it did the same the whole way back. periodally disable and then come back on.Owner report · Unknown Or Other,Forward Collision Avoidance · May 2026
[XXX] old child pulled the seat belt out farther than necessary, creating slack. The seatbelt got twisted and it won't retract into the trim. We tried tugging, trying to unfold the ripple at the trim and We tried folding the belt into a triangle, pushing it back in to re-engage the pulls but it did not work. we now have no seatbelt for the 2nd row passenger side. The belt is extended and will not retract. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Owner report · Seat Belts · May 2026

Hyundai has refused to correct recall 292 and 283. I do not feel safe driving my children in the third row with the open recall. I have requested a loaner while the recalls are fixed. Since recall 292 has no timeline on repair, I feel Hyundai should issue a buy back.Owner report · Air Bags,Seat Belts · Apr 2026
