On 7/22/26 at about 5:15pm, I was operating my vehicle, a 2022 Hyundai Palisade in the Parking lot of Publix Supermarket at Valrico Commons and was attempting to enter a parking space. I made a right from the parking thruway to enter a right parking space. I felt one of the right wheels graze the pedestrian sidewalk as I was driving about 5 miles per hour, next thing the vehicle lunged forward out of control and though I tried applying the brakes, the brakes would not respond. As a result, my vehicle ending up hitting a parking pole, which resulted in two vehicles parked opposite to me being hit by the pole. There was no one in the parked vehicles.Owner report · Service Brakes · Jul 2026
My wife was driving the vehicle to work this morning XXX around 730am on the [XXX] near [XXX] and the vehicle just cut off while driving at high speed. All the lights were activated on the dashboard. The steering wheel locked, the brakes stopped working, and the car would not accelerate. The vehicle died mid drive placing her in a dangerous life threatening predicament within this heavily trucked corridor. She was left to block traffic until help arrived. The vehicle was towed to the Hyundai dealership on Eucalyptus in Moreno Valley. We were driving down the road and heard a loud pop and then heard glass falling onto the sunroof sunshade. My sunroom exploded out of nowhere, nobody in front of me, no trees or structures above us. Just spontaneously shattered.Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Jul 2026

Several times now, the car's engine will shut off while driving at low speed. When it shuts off, there is a relatively loud electrical noise coming from the engine compartment, and the instrument panel has multiple lights and sounds. There have been times when this issue has nearly caused a major accident.Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026

In my 2022 Hyundai palisade calligraphy AWD, the third row power fold seats did not stop upon closing while testing it out on water bottles. It completely shut over two gallon jugs of distilled water, as well as a case of water. I believe there are more vehicles that this 3rd row power fold recall should branch over, and is not. So many children and animals are at risk and are not aware.Owner report · Seats · Apr 2026
At about 60,200 miles, my check engine light went off and I took it to the dealer. They told me all my fuel injectors were failing and I had to replace those to include the spark plugs. I understand there is a current class action lawsuit for similar Hyundai vehicles but does not include the Palisade.Owner report · Engine · Mar 2026
Driving approx. 45 mph through [XXX] when I heard loud boom and glass shattering. After calming down and avoiding a collision I realized my sunroof had essentially exploded and shattered. No impact or foreign debris was visible or noted.I was very scared. I tested the 3rd row in my Palisade Calligraphy 2022 after a death of a little girl happened in a 2026 model. I placed a case of water bottles in the seat, where my children have ridden so many times before on trips. Watched the seat go down, not one time did the sensor trigger. The water bottles were crushed. This is terrifying findings. It means its not just Hyundais 2026 problems, this is much bigger of an issue. Please please please look into this.Owner report · Seats · Mar 2026
Recall notice was received reporting 3rd row seating unsafe for occupants. There is no remedy at this time and I have 4 children under the age of 8, two of which ride in the 3rd row. Dealership has been reluctant to help with this matter and Hyundai corporate has delayed communication.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Mar 2026
