“The contact owns a 2001 GMC Jimmy. The contact stated that while at a complete stop with the brake pedal depressed, the vehicle turned off independently. The contact stated that he had to depress the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal at the same time to keep the vehicle running. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the spider fuel injectors needed to be replaced. Additionally, there was very low compression on cylinder #1 and #3 of 55 PSI. “I would like to file a complaint about the ABS brake sensor not working. From online search this is a common problem with the 2001 gmc jimmy and no recall has been issued. I have had this issue for the past year that the ABS lights on the dash will come sometimes but at other times it will be off. I have been told the sensor is bad and it would cost over $700.00 to fix. Since this is a big issue I wish you would look into this and have gm issue a recall. *tr”Owner report · Service Brakes · Oct 2012
