“When you press on the gas accelerator- the car only moves at a few miles per hour. This is intermittent but makes the car undriveable and very dangerous to drive in traffic. The throttle body was replaced but now geneis says it is another electrical issue and the car needs a new harness- but gensis no longer makes this part (the harness) so genesis even under my warranty cannot fix the car genesis says it is a harness issue and they don't have and cannot get the part- hence they cannot fix the car”Owner report · Engine · Apr 2026

“The hyundai genesis and the genesis G80 have an oil pressure sensor defect. Practically, everyone i know with a genesis, in particular the 3.8 L engine, has this issue. The oil pressure sensor illuminates even though the engine oil level is fine and this issue can occur at any time regardless of mileage. I'd be surprised if this issue has not been reported to you all.”Owner report · Engine · Dec 2024
