Moaning noise coming from the power steering system. In march 08 I took my 1993 town and county mini van in and my mechanic replaced the steering rack. This seemed to work until the moaning sound started again in october 08. After keeping the van for four days my mechanic could not find anything wrong and did not hear the noise. I picked it up and it was quiet until march 09. At this time I brought it back and the power steering pump was replaced. After only one week I am again hearing the moan start. My vehicle had 47,000 miles on it when this problem occurred and now has 55,700 miles. *trOwner report · Steering · Mar 2008
