“I own a 1992 chrysler with anti-lock brakes covered by NHTSA campaign id 96v099000. It has 93,000 miles & chrysler has refused to pay for covered repairs under the above listed campaign. The vehicle has been out of service numerous times for brake problems & they have refused to cover the last repair for approx $500. According to your odi listing, all ABS components are covered to 100,000 miles. The servicing dealer has told me & the chrysler consumer representative that the repair should be covered & was covered by them at one time, but they have refused to cover the replacement of the ABS actuator on my vehicle. The chrysler ref# for my inquiry to them is 15951884. *jb”Owner report · Service Brakes, Hydraulic · Feb 2007
“The serpentine belt falls off of my 1992 chrysler town and country whenever I go through a puddle... No matter how fast or slow I go. When the belt comes off everything goes, including the powersteering-not a good thing when its raining and the roads are already slick. I called my local chrysler dealer and was told that though there is a fix for newer vehicles they don't make one for mine. I've tried replacing the belt, the pulleys, the tensioner, and nothing helps. *tr”Owner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Aug 2006
“Consumer was charged for a recall item on 1992 town and country. *kb the dealer did not have the parts available to repair the ABS recall (96v099000 ). The part was ordered and the consumer was charged $75. The part was scheduled to arrive july 1, 2006 but to date the part has not arrived. *nm”Owner report · Service Brakes, Hydraulic · May 2006
“Continuing ABS failure, I have had the ABS repaired several times under warranty, but the ABS system keeps failing. Now music city dodge is telling me there is contamination in the system and every thing in the brake system needs to be replaced to the tune of $3000.00. I can't see how this is correct considering they are the only ones who have worked on the brakes.*jb”Owner report · Equipment · Jul 2005
