“Ball joint and ball stud, separated and broken, causing loss of control of vehicle. This occured on the passenger front side. Vehicle was in motion. Back side also has become extremely loose and grinding, advised it also will separate and break, causing an accident and loss of control of vehicle. It happened at the same time the passenger front side broke down. The vehicle was not and has not been in a passenger side accident.”Owner report · Suspension · May 2016
“About 4:30 pm (rush hour) on 20 october 2015 I was driving south on I-95 south of washington dc when the horn sounded continuously and unexpectedly, surprising me and drivers near me. I was going straight at about 60 mph. It stopped after I firmly depressed the horn pad twice. After I arrived at home the horn sounded again for about 1 minute. The car was parked with the wheel slightly to the left. I disconnected the horn and began researching on line. It didn't take long to find that this has been a common problem with chrysler sebrings for quite a few years: www.carcomplaints.com/chrysler/sebring/2006/accessories-interior/horn_goes_off_by_itself.shtml.”Owner report · Electrical System · Oct 2015

“There is a defective part in the steering wheel that costs around $1000 dollars to fix. The horn will go off with any warning. There are currently 49 complaints on the car complaints website for the sebring model. “I have a 2006 chrysler sebring sedan. Over the past week the horn malfunctions where it will blare for 30-40 seconds while it is parked and untouched. This also happened while driving and I had to punch the steering wheel a couple times for it to stop. I had to pull out the fuse today. Why chrysler doesn't recall this is beyond me. It is dangerous and can cause an accident. *tr”Owner report · Electrical System · Feb 2014
“Vehicle's horn blows at different times, ie...when turn signal is on, when it is cold outside and when nobody is in the car, usually in the early morning. *tr”Owner report · Electrical System · Nov 2013
“While stopped at a traffic light I put the car in park. When the light turned green the shift lever would not leave park. The car became an inanimate obstacle to flow of traffic through the intersection. *tr”Owner report · Latches/Locks/Linkages · Mar 2011
“On my 2006 chrysler sebring with the 2.4 litre engine. It is a sedan. The steering wheel was shaking and when we took in into a mechanic, he found that the bracket between the front motor mount to the engine was broken. I have contacted chrysler and they will not be manufacturing the part until the end of june. *tr”Owner report · Structure · Mar 2011
“I was driving to work and the horn went off all by itself. I quickly pressed the horn in response and it went off. It has continued to do this and considerably gotten worse. It goes off even when the car is not started. When I remove the fuse it stops...however I cannot get it inspected for feel safe to drive with the fuse out. *tr”Owner report · Electrical System · Nov 2010
“Horn started going off when the car was parked in drive. Then started going off as you drive the car. The only way to stop it is to take out the fuse, which disables the airbag in the steering wheel. Both of these problems are safety issues and there needs to be a recall and chrysler needs to be financially responsible as it seems to be a design flaw. *tr”Owner report · Electrical System · Jan 2010
