“I was driving down the highway when the 3 bolts holding the exhaust under the car broke off. My exhaust was dragging down the highway until I could safely get pulled over. The bolts are welded in of course so you can't just put new bolts in you have to replace the whole catalytic converter, which is a pain to do unless you take it to the dealer and pay $2000.”Owner report · Engine · Aug 2026
“When I shut off the engine, it says "Shift to park" and the car will not turn off. To get it to turn off, I have to turn the car back on (usually multiple times), until it recognizes that it IS in park.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026
“The car showed an error message saying shift to park when trying to turn the car off. The car was in park and showed in park on the dashboard & shifter but the error message still said it wasn't in park. While this error is showing it will not allow the car to shut off or lock doors. I have a little over 19k miles on this car and should not have this issue. After researching this has been a know issue with their vehicles for years and it still has not been addressed.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026

“I used the jack for the first time of buying the vehicle new. I jacked the vehicle up to put the spare on and the scissor jack folded up and the car dropped. So I looked up if there was a recall on it and there isn't but there is on other vehicles. Note: the car was on level hard surface ground and I placed the jack in the correct location.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jun 2026
“When car is shifted to park it doesn't let the car turn off. There is a message to shift the car to park when it is in park”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jun 2026
“Vehicle stalled and shut off while driving in moving traffic on multiple occasions, resulting in sudden loss of power steering and brake assist - a significant safety hazard. Battery failed at 32,860 miles (September 2025) with all low voltage codes. Battery replaced by dealer. Vehicle continued to exhibit stalling, no-start, and Battery Saver Active warnings. Dealer has been unable to resolve the recurring issue across three visits (RO 510659, RO 518708, RO 523715) at Chevrolet of Culver City, Culver City CA. Dealer is now attributing the fault to contaminated fuel without providing lab evidence. Active GM Customer Care case 1-02414837. Powertrain warranty active”Owner report · Power Train · Jun 2026
“When putting the vehicle in park and turning off, a warning message will appear that states "Shift to Park" and initially a nudge of the gear shift would clear the message, after one week, a simple nudge does not clear the message. The vehicle will not turn off and continues to beep, you have to put vehicle in gear (D or R) move a few feet, return to P, press very firmly on the brake and press the ignition button, this may or may not clear the message and it could take a few attempts of these steps to clear.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · May 2026
“Shifter does not recognize its in park, from what I read this affects thousands. Why am I having to sit in my car for minutes at a time? is Chevy not required to handle the fixing of that switch. What a subpar design team they have. I just had to cough up over $800 to fix rusting because of shit wheel design that doesn't protect those components. Absolutely unacceptable to have consumers not only buy a car but then not issue a recall over the switch just inside the console I guess they want to con thousands to pay for a new shifter?”Owner report · Electrical System · May 2026
“The studs that connect the front exhaust to the rear exhaust and muffler rusted and the exhaust fell down and crumpled up. Basically tore the exhaust off of the car when this happened.”Owner report · Engine · Mar 2026
“The park switch inside the transmission control assemblies shifter control assembly fail to detect when shifting gear into park”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Mar 2026
