Leased a 2025 Chevy Silverado in late 2025. On June 13th 2026 driving home my vehicle all of a sudden had very little power, check engine light went on and thankfully I was at my driveway. Pulled into my residence, shut truck off and called the dealer I leased the truck from at 1:00 pm Satuarday, June 13th. They set me up with a loaner vehicle. I called for a tow truck Monday the June 15th and had truck delivered to dealership. Ive been told, they are looking into? Beyond that, nothing more.Owner report · Power Train · Jun 2026

All sound goes out on this truck intermittently. Maybe once every 3-4 days. I will have 0 sound, the safety feature sounds, the parking assistance, the directional signal sounds, the stereo. It is not Bluetooth or anything interfering I've shut my phone off to test. This happens with MANY people. Most people complain online about the stereo and directional sounds being completely muted, but forget to mention or don't notice that the parking and collision assistance sounds are out as well. It took me a while to realize. I have video of it happening as wellOwner report · Back Over Prevention · May 2026
Hello, I purchased this truck new in November of 2025. Around 1500 miles and a few months later the truck developed what sounds like some sort of belt squeak or chirp upon startup, light acceleration and when the engine auto start/stops. I took it to my local dealer and they told me they "lubed the belt" the noise became faint but still didn't go away. Around 3k miles the noise is back as loud as it was. Back to the dealer, a new serpentine belt the noise is again quieter but still exists. This needs to be addressed many people online are dealing with this and the dealer is giving us the run around trying to say it's normal for a brand new $70,000 dollar truck to squeak and chirp!Owner report · Engine · May 2026

Was driving and vehicle went into neutral and reduced acceleration drive with care message along with a illumination of a engine appeared on dash, dealer diagnosed faulty valve body on transmissionOwner report · Power Train · May 2026
On 3/30/2026, I was driving down the road & suddenly my dash filled with warning lights about brakes, abs etc. Steering the vehicle became almost impossible because power steering was gone. When I attempted to brake, I also found that I had very little braking. The vehicle has 11,036 miles. Got the vehicle to the dealership - Capital Chevrolet from which it was purchased. It has been diagnosed as a major brake failure. Master Cylinder, booster, reservoir, seals etc. Extremely dangerous situation without any early warning signs, lights or notices.Owner report · Service Brakes · Mar 2026
Violent shuddering, as if vehicle does not know what gear to be in. unpredictable harsh and delayed gear changes. Many repairs have been made, including transmission replacement, but issue still remains. Newberg Chevrolet dealership that did all previous repairs has denied to schedule an appointment for follow up diagnosis and needed repairs. This shuddering vehicle is unpredictable and unsafe to drive, yet GM has refused to help.Owner report · Power Train · Mar 2026
I had a 2020 chevy trail boss and the piston rod broke. Chevy stated I needed a new motor. At the time it was 5 weeks or more to get fixed. I traded it in for the same style truck because I was on vacation and needed to get home. (2025 with the l87 6.2 motor). My new truck has 21000 miles on it and I have been noticing a rougher idle, oil use between oil changes, and metal debrie in the oil and oil filter. I'm afraid this new truck will blow up too. I lost money on the 2020 truck and now it looks like the same is happening to my new one.Owner report · Engine · Mar 2026
