“The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Malibu equipped with Firestone Tires, Tire Line: FT140, Tire Size: P205/65/R16, DOT Number: 17X849C87. The contact stated that while driving 35 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. The contact inspected the vehicle and became aware that the inside tread of the rear tires were shredded. Additionally, the failure had caused the outside tread to warp. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and made aware of the failure. The tire failure mileage was approximately 9,000. “Back-Up Camera has malfunctioned several times. We received a RECALL NOTICE on it. We took it in for replacement today and were denied recall replacement as they said it worked today. But it has repeatedly malfunctioned while driving. We get a BLANK/BLACK screen with a WARNING to SERVICE CAMERA. It has also been shown with a blurry/fuzzy screen where you cannot make out the images at all. “3 times during rainy weather my backup camera would display an odd view. The screen would malfunction and turn off. The radio wouldn't work. Climate control wouldn't work. Recalls - 2 campaigns
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Cadillac XT4 and Chevrolet Malibu vehicles. The vehicles may have the wrong owner's manual in the glove box. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."
Remedy: Dealers will provide owners with the correct manual, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 26, 2024. Owners may contact Cadillac's customer service at 1-800-458-8006 and Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N242454040.
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles. The rearview camera screen may display a distorted or blank image.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 20, 2026. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N262551720.
