The vehicle was taken to a dealer and the contact was informed that the fuel vapors were coming from the fuel pump sending unit. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer spoke with the manufacturer about the failure however, the manufacturer offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. “Upon filling the car to a full tank that is a strong gas smell that permeates the cab. This smell is persistent even while driving with the convertible top down.
