Common problems
Computed from 215 owner complaints filed with NHTSA for this exact model year.
“There is a major fuel line leak just before the high pressure fuel pump. It appears that the fuel line aggressively rubbed against an A/C line component (looks like a muffler/canister). This rubbing created a huge hole in the high pressure fuel line, causing diesel to spray everywhere on the driver side of the engine compartment. This causes a massive safety issue due to diesel fuel uncontrollably spraying onto hot engine components. In my own research, this seems to be a known problem for GM. I believe there is a TSB published for this exact problem, but I have yet to find the document online. This needs to be an official recalled item ASAP.”Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jul 2026
