“Rear camera/360 camera works intermittently. Vehicle has been recalled for this exact problem and was taken to dealership for correction. “I was in slow traffic and my check engine light came on then the parking brake engaged. My car stopped and I could not disengage the parking brake so the car could shift gears. “The contact owns a 2020 Cadillac XT4. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, she heard an abnormal popping sound coming from an unknown location. Additionally, there was a screeching sound coming from the brakes. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the rear passenger's side shock absorber. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. “The contact owns a 2020 Cadillac XT4. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed on the highway, the Forward Collision Avoidance feature indicated that there were pedestrians ahead on the road, but there were no pedestrians on the road. The contact stated that later, while pedestrians were present, the Forward Collision Avoidance feature failed to operate as designed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. “RECALL for repair of Back UP Camera because it intermittently stops working. XT4 has been taken in TWICE for this recall January and February of 2023. “On 03/16/2022 I was pulling away from my driveway on flat even pavement. As I accelerated the side curtain airbags malfunctioned and inflated.. there is no damage to the vehicle, and the report sent from onstage immediately following shows all information modules show no issues. “Tl* the contact owns a 2020 cadillac xt4. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 20v588000 (service brakes) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The manufacturer was contacted and a case was filed. Additionally, the contact was referred to a local dealer where she was informed that she would receive a loaner vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to larson cadillac (6411 20th st e, fife, wa 98424) where she was provided a rental vehicle. The contact's vehicle remained in the possession of the dealer. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020 Chevrolet Corvette and Cadillac CT4, CT5 and XT4, 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and 2020-2021 Buick Encore GX vehicles. Sensor connection contamination in the electronic brake boost system may cause an interruption of communication between the sensor and the brake boost system.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the electronic brake boost module, free of charge. The recall began December 9, 2020. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223, or Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300. GM's number for this recall is A202307260.
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Chevrolet Cruze and Buick LaCrosse, 2018-2020 Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain, 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, 2019-2020 Buick Encore, Buick Enclave, Cadillac XT4, Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Acadia, and 2020 Cadillac XT6 vehicles. The start/stop accumulator endcap may have missing bolts.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the start-stop transmission accumulator and replace it if any bolts are missing, free of charge. The recall began December 15, 2020. General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Cadillac XT4 vehicles equipped with the optional Surround Vision feature. The video processing module (VPM) may lose communication with the rearview camera, causing a loss of the rearview camera image.
Remedy: Dealers will update the VPM software or replace the VPM, as necessary, free of charge. An interim owner notification letter informing owners of the safety defect was mailed January 17, 2023. Owner notification letters were mailed February 3, 2023. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. GM's number for this recall is N222373320. .
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020 Buick Enclave, Cadillac XT4, XT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, 2018-2021 Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, 2019-2020 Chevrolet Blazer, Silverado 1500, GMC Acadia, Sierra 1500, and certain Continental tires sold to the aftermarket for various model year 2018-2021 vehicles. The affected tires were cured for too long during production.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the tires, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began March 22, 2021. General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2016-2021 Chevrolet Malibu and 2019-2021 Cadillac XT4 vehicles. The rear seat belt retractors may be improperly secured with loose or missing fasteners.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the rear seat belt retractors, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 17, 2021.
