“the headlights are so dim that the car is not usable at night. I was told by the Cadillac dealership that this is a known problem with GM/Cadillac. “My headlights have deteriorated to the point that the vehicle can't be driven at night. GM/Cadillac acknowledged this as a problem with this particular model. I sent an email to the Cadillac CEO, Rory Harvey. I received a call from an executive assistant stating that this issue was addressed prior to my report. I stated I could not use the vehicle at night due to safety issues. Her response was to offer me a discount on a new purchase. My vehicle now has a significant safety issue. “problems with low beam headlights, which often resulted in dimness, fogging, or premature burnout due to faulty weather seals that allowed moisture into the headlight housings I've owned more than 5 cadillac srx different models from 2010-2016 and they all have this problem. “The CUE touchscreen display has cracked for the second time in seven years without any physical impact. This appears to be a widespread defect in Cadillac SRX models. The screen becomes unresponsive and is a major distraction while driving, impacting safety, navigation, climate control, and backup camera visibility. “The contact owns a 2015 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while responding and made an abnormal squeaking sound. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with differential failure. The contact was informed that the differential needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. “My vehicle caught fire while driving it. There was no warning...no engine lights on, no smoking engine. The fire seemed to start behind the dashboard of the passenger side. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles manufactured April 14, 2009, to September 1, 2014, and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X vehicles manufactured February 1, 2011, to September 13, 2011. On the affected vehicles, the jam nut in the rear suspension toe adjuster link may not be torqued to the proper specification. A loose toe adjuster link can cause the vehicle to sway or wander at highway speeds. A loose toe adjuster link may lead to thread damage and eventual failure. Failure of the toe adjuster link will cause an abrupt change in the vehicle's alignment.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the torque of the left and right rear toe link adjuster lock nuts, and replace the parts if there is evidence of damage or a loose link, free of charge. The The recall began November 11, 2014. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006 or Saab customer service at 1-800-955-9007. GM's number for this recall is 14457.
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, XTS, 2015-2016 Cadillac ATS, CTS, and SRX vehicles. The front-driver air bag inflator may rupture during deployment.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the front-driver air bag module, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed June 19, 2026. Additional letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223. The manufacturer's number for this recall is N262555870. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on May 21, 2026.
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2010-2016 Cadillac SRX and 2011-2012 Saab 9-4X vehicles. The rear suspension toe link adjuster may not have been tightened properly, which could result in a loose toe link.
Remedy: Owners are advised to not drive their vehicle if they experience certain Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) warnings or other issues, such as unusual steering behavior, while driving. Please see the Part 573 report for the full list of warnings. Dealers will replace the adjustable toe link with a non-adjustable one, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed August 6, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 25, 2021. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Cadillac SRX vehicles manufactured November 11, 2014, to December 3, 2014. The front driver's seat may have been built with an incorrect seat track bracket. Drivers' seats with this condition may not be properly attached to the seat track.
Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace affected seat track hook brackets, free of charge. The recall began on February 5, 2015. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-458-8006 (Cadillac). GM's number for this recall is 14863.
