While driving on the interstate, consumer smelled an electrical short smell. Smoke started coming from the sleeper birth area, then the cabin was in flames. Clutch was replaced when the rear main seal was replaced (clutch not worn out just more cost effective), new clutch went through 3 adjustments before the truck was towed in for non-disengagemet: numerous times the clutch could not shift into other gears (high or low) causing lack of power and driveability problems in heavy traffic or when going up or down hills. While driving on highway noticed front end was pulling and bad vibration. Contacted dealer and he was not able to repair it. Steering tires were going one direction, and driving tires were going in the opposite direction, pulling against each other. Wiring harness under dash has experienced continued problems causing electrical malfunctions, power problems and shorts causing burning smell. Mjs. The hood popped open while driving at 60-70 mph, because the inner latch assembly is attached to the frame of the truck rather than the body. Therefore, any flexing will cause the pin to dislodge its bracket and resulting that side to be loose.
