“We have had 3 interior door handles malfunction within 12,000 miles. This poses a serious risk if the vehicle was in an accident where there was a fire and the interior door handle malfunctioned. Toyota has yet to publish a recall, but it is widely documented online and our dealer service advisor has mentioned this is a serious problem they have seen on other models as well. The three handles have broken on three different occasions: Front driver(2/13/2026), rear driver-side (8/14/2026), and most recently front passenger side (9/13/2026)”Owner report · Structure · Sep 2026
“Interior door handle broke, driver side. Vehicle is just over a year old with 7K miles. Apparently Toyota has confirmed this is defective part, the item is currently back ordered and I'm at 10 plus days waiting for a replacement. “The panoramic moonroof on the 2025 Toyota Sequoia spontaneously shattered while the vehicle was stationary. Nothing hit the moonroof. Was told by the dealership that it was caused by a pressure imbalance and although this is a know issue Toyota will not cover it as corporate doesn't see it as a issue. “The 2nd panel of the panoramic sunroof literally exploded. Was sitting, stationary after a brief highway drive when it exploded cacophonously. “The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Sequoia. The contact stated that while his daughter was attempting to buckle the passenger's side second row seat belt, a bolt from the anchor point near the floor of the vehicle detached. “While driving with my family in the car our panoramic sunroof exploded out of now where. Now after a week of waiting and missing work due the dealership waiting to see if warranty is going to cover it. Recalls - 2 campaigns
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, and 2023-2025 Sequoia Hybrid vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview image not to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Remedy: Dealers will update the multimedia display software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 19, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25TB10 and 25TA10.
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Toyota Tundra, Tacoma Hybrid, Tacoma, RAV4 Hybrid, Land Cruiser Hybrid, Lexus GX550, 2024-2026 Tundra Hybrid, 2025 Sequoia Hybrid, Crown Signia, Grand Highlander, Lexus TX500 Hybrid, Lexus NX350 Hybrid, 2025-2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid, and Lexus TX350 vehicles. The load carrying capacity modification label may display inaccurate added weight values. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Remedy: Dealers will replace the load carrying capacity modification label, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed May 26, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 26LB04, 26LA04, 26TB07, and 26TA07.
