22' Camry LE. Was driving over a bridge that's undergoing construction, as many areas around me are. There were few lines painted to distinguish lanes. Driving in the right lane when (I'm assuming) Lane Assist suddenly pulled me to the right. Thankfully I caught it before anything had happened, but if it hadn't, I would've gone straight into a concrete barrier at the edge of a bridge on a busy street (and over one). The most unsafe part? This feature can't be disabled permanently. It's something that has to be disabled every time you start the car.Owner report · Steering · May 2026
Front passenger side door lock would not lock or unlock with the key fab or door lock button of door panel. Dealership diagnosis problem as a failed actuator. This can result in safety concern if your unable to lock or unlock the door in an emergency, also to note the passenger door does not have an exterior physical key entry making the safety concern even worse. Also, security concerns for thief if door isn't locking properly.Owner report · Latches/Locks/Linkages · Mar 2026

Without warning, the connecting rod broke while the vehicle was in motion in traffic. Catastrophic engine damage caused engine failure and loss of power. Created a safety hazard to guide the vehicle from travel lanes to soft shoulder of the roadway using only the remaining kinetic energy of the vehicle while it had power.Owner report · Engine · Feb 2026
