“As I was driving in stop and go traffic last night, my panoramic sunroof spontaneously exploded. Nothing fell on it, so when I say it "spontaneously" exploded, that's an accurate statement. It literally sounded like a gunshot. The cover was closed, so I was fortunate that no glass fell onto us (there were 4 adults in the vehicle at the time). I have only had this vehicle for 4 months. I dropped it off at Toyota of Temecula, CA this morning and I'm waiting to hear next steps.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Sep 2026
“I am not sure if this is a vehicle or tire issue, but this car is a 2026 Camry nightshade edition, and it is experiencing significant Tramlining due to its combination of wheels and tires. I feel the manufacturer should do something to address this issue.”Owner report · Wheels · Aug 2026

“Everyone's safety is at risk because these monitors are failing, and they aren't doing anything about it. I asked for a loaner I don't feel safe driving my brand new car. The last recall was a Risk of fire. So they got me a loaner, this one is only risking a crash so they don't feel responsible. This cant be legal for them to make me drive around a car that may lose its hazards blinkers and speedometer at any time.especially since my other monitor is already working intermittently. I have zero faith in this car, and Toyota is refusing to prevent accidents by selling working vehicles, or providing a working vehicle until it is ready.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Aug 2026
“This is the only way I can get my message to you that I know of. It is very distracting having to deal with all the ADAS systems. They are actually a distraction for me, taking my eyes off the road when I most need them on the road to figure out why the "nanny" alarms are going off. I don't know why these things are being added to vehicles, but we have to turn them off as much as we can. If I get in an accident, it will be because of these features not because I am not paying attention to the road. Thank you for letting me share my perspective.
