Luckily I was parked. Turned on my car to roll up the windows and suddenly the drivers side seat exploded, with what looked like an airbag inside the seat. It hit my arm causing a bruise. The seat is now torn and busted.Owner report · Air Bags · Nov 2019
Takata recall. I got into my car to leave. I reached back for my seat belt and the airbag inside the drivers seat deployed. My car was not in motion, I was sitting in a parking lot and the car was not impacted by anything. The airbag struck me on the left side and I got out of the car and went inside to the er because I was already at the hospital for a regular appointment. I did not sit back hard in the seat, I simply reached back for my seat belt and the airbag deployed from within the drivers seat, not the side of the car.Owner report · Air Bags · Jul 2017
