“The reported vehicle has experienced repeated, critical stalling events immediately following the activation of the engine Start/Stop feature. The engine shuts down normally when the vehicle comes to a stop (e.g., at a traffic light or stop sign) but fails to automatically restart when the brake pedal is released or the accelerator is pressed. This leaves the vehicle immobilized in traffic, creating a significant safety hazard. Incident Details The stalling behavior has occurred multiple times under normal operating conditions. The issue is intermittent but frequent enough to cause concern for vehicle safety.”Owner report · Electrical System · Dec 2025

“The 2024 Ram 1500 3.6L V6 E-Torque engine stalls at low speeds. Without warning the engine shuts off and the emergency brake automatically engages, when the truck comes to a stop it shifts into park, and I have to restart the truck. Fortunately this has only happened in parking lots at speeds of around 5mph. This has happened twice so far. The battery voltage dropped from 13.8 volts to 12.2 volts during both stall events. The truck is 1 year old with 15,324 miles on it.”Owner report · Electrical System · Oct 2025
