“The contact owns a 2019 Porsche MACAN. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed an abnormal loud sound. In addition, the contact stated none of the safety features functioned as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed power control module. The contact was informed that the power control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure was a known failure with the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.”Owner report · Electrical System · May 2026
“Passenger low beam led stopped functioning at 39k, with no warning light of it ceasing to function. Safety of passengers and driver were at risk. Went through diagnostics at dealership, diagnosed to need a complete headlight assembly replacement. Was told by Porsche dealership as well as independent shops that this is a "known problem" with these Macan headlights. Did the replacement and 2k miles later, same issue presents. Blinker works, high beam works, running light works. Low beam non functional.”Owner report · Exterior Lighting · May 2026
“I have an accident-free 2019 Macan S with 40k miles. Recently my passenger side headlight went out, so I took it to the auto repair shop I use (they specialize in German cars). The passenger side light assembly has been deemed faulty, and I am still driving without a headlight -- concerning for safety reasons as well as for possible ticketing. After reading online, I see many Macan/Cayenne owners share the same light assembly issue - 2019+ cars in the 35k-50k mileage range. The quote for the new assembly is $5200. This is a known issue that is not the result of normal wear and tear.”Owner report · Exterior Lighting · Feb 2026

“Vehicle keeps entering limp mode when driving. Complete loss of power car cannot move and is left stranded. Vehicle has been at the dealership diagnosed and repaired over 4 times but the problem still remains. Dealer states there is no rat or electrical damage, battery was replaced and software updated but the car keeps losing all power and needs tows constantly.”Owner report · Power Train · Sep 2025
“Failure of the front passenger side seat sensor failed causing the passenger seat belt to not be activated. Seems exactly like the 2015to 2018 recall.”Owner report · Air Bags · May 2024
“I was going under 30 mph on a regular road. Avoiding a collision, one of the front wheels locked causing the vehicle to flip.”Owner report · Service Brakes · Nov 2023
“Right headlight assembly defective. Turns out MANY 2019 Macans have this same problem. Only 2019 and only the right side. VERY expensive repair, and many would put it off causing a safety issue”Owner report · Exterior Lighting · Apr 2023
“Car intermittently reverses in drive while coming out of park (on flat surfaces). Provided videos of incidents to Porsche but they have not been able to identify the issue. This has almost caused an accident. Two people were standing behind my car when I put the car in drive but it reversed. Dealer has investigated (very cursory) on multiple occasions now based on the video evidence but has been unable to replicate the issue (since it's intermittent) and therefore will not take action. (I can provide videos but there is no option to do so on this upload). Incident date below is most recent incident.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Aug 2021
“The issue is the squeaking of the rear brakes when backing up. The would happen when the car had been driven. This happens in cold or hot weather. A factory dealership had look at the issue but found nothing. This problem started when the car was about two to three months old. I also have a 2020 audi q7, and it has almost the same issue when backing up. However, it does more in the morning whether the weather is hot or cold. We visited an audi dealership but they found nothing. A separate complaint had been filed under my name as well. Both cars have the same 3.0l v6 engine.”Owner report · Service Brakes · Jul 2020
