“I recently purchased four (4) goodyear eagle ultra grip gw-3 tires (235/55r17) from sams club in dover, delaware and they were shipped from the goodyear warehouse all with a dot date of 3614 almost 4-years old! I dont believe goodyear should be selling tires with a dot date of 3614. “I've noticed about a year ago I would start this car, and the rpm's would go very high. After a while it stopped doing it. The last two weeks while driving it accelerates on it own. No need to touch the gas pedal. “On 2/4/2015 bought a 2001 olds/aurora from an individual, nice and clean drove it back to hometown approx 60 miles. I than drove it to a corner store and while leaving the corner store, I drove to distance and all of a sudden, steering wheel, brakes, anti-lock system and all electrical shut off completely. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. SOME OF THESE VEHICLES HAVE INTERNAL FLUID LEAKS IN THE BRAKE HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE ABS HYDRAULIC MODULATOR UNIT AND IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE HYDRAULIC MODULATOR.
