Good morning. I wanted to make you aware of a potential safety concern with the 2024 Sentra. The ECO button is very close to the trunk open button, and on 2 separate occasions, I have accidentally opened my trunk instead of switching to eco mode while driving. Luckily, at the time of these incidents, I was traveling at a relatively low speed and able to quickly pull over. But this could be quite dangerous if it happened on the interstate or other major highway at higher speed and if there are items inside the trunk that could fall out. It seems like common sense that the trunk should remain locked and unable to open while the vehicle is in drive.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jul 2026

I recently bought a 2024 nissan sentra sv premium used with 9,000 miles previous owner before me stated car would not accelerate at time after coming to a complete stop and dealership fixed the issue which was the brake switch I recently had the same issue around 15,000 miles and they said it the brake switch again, So I started searching online for similar incidents and it seems pretty common in older models but no one seems to state anything about the brake switch so I dont know if it is just a temporary fix as it happened to the previous owner 6-7k miles ago on my car and now happening again on a brand new car. please look into thisOwner report · Unknown Or Other,Service Brakes · Sep 2025
