This has happened 4 times in the last 2 weeks. While driving on the Interstate, the ABS light and skid control lights come on, shortly after all lights and the radio go off and the vehicle loses power. No power even when flooring the gas petal. Getting over to the side of the road, you can turn off the engine, sit for a few minutes, then all is fine. Diagnostics have been run showing no problems. Heading to the dealer, if I make it today! 150,000 miles.Owner report · Engine · Apr 2023

Vehicle only has 400miles on the odo. Srs warning light and passenger seat belt light goes on and off. Was driving on the highway, vehicle in motion at the rate of 70mph. No passengers in the vehicle. First the passenger seatbealt warning light would come on and off then shortly after the srs warning light would illuminate. I inserted the passenger seatbealt to turn off the light and passenger seatbealt light turn off but srs warning light still stayed on. All lights turned off once arrived to my distanation, I did notice that the passengers seat was wet from my water bottle leaking about 6oz of water.Owner report · Air Bags · Mar 2018
My airbag light in the dash is always lit. The dealer wants to charge $120 just to look at it. I'm seeing other people say that their car has the same problem and some have had accidents and their air bags are not deploying. Please investigate this.Owner report · Air Bags · Jan 2018
As for the most part I love my car but the interior fogs up and makes it difficult to see . You can not drive this car if the wind is blowing. It's hard to keep it on the road. Never! Accidentally run off the side of the road. It will almost flip. So I have found that driving defense is the only was to drive the mirage. Its tiresome just to go get groceries. Love the gas mileage. I should have researched the car. I had an eclipse and I loved it. I guess I thought the mirage, being a mitsubishi would have kinda the same. Not in power but the way it drove.Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Mar 2017

AIR BAGS: AIR BAG/RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE19V330000 · Apr 2019

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Mirage G4 vehicles. The internal acceleration sensor in the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) can misinterpret vibrations, such as from poor road conditions or a flat tire, as a malfunction and disable all the vehicle's air bags.

Remedy: MMNA notified owners, and dealers will reprogram the SRS-ECU software, free of charge. The recall began May 24, 2019. Owners may contact MMNA customer service at 1-888-648-7820. MMNA's number for this recall is SR-19-001.
